Luisella Pavan-Woolfe

Luisella Pavan-Woolfe was born in Italy. She graduated in Political Science with the emphasis on International Law at the university of Padua. From 1970 to 1973, she worked as a trainee in a law firm, audemars piguet replica followed by a professorship as assistant professor in Anglo- American Law from 1974 to 1975. In 1975, she began working as a competition unit administrator in the Transport DG at the European Union administration, later transferred to Environment and Consumer Protection service, the Secretariat-General and the Employment, Social Affairs & Equal Opportunities DG. From 2007 to 2009, Luisella Pavan-Woolfe was appointed ambassador and representative of the European Commission to the Council of Europe, since 2010, she is ambassador and head of the EU delegation to the Council of Europe. Luisella Pavan-Woolfe has written numerous articles on European subjects, and was awarded the European prize for women’s entrepreneurs administered by the Marisa Bellisario Foundation in 1998.
