Since 2009, Director General for Cinema, at the Directorate for Cinema of the Italian Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism, which is responsible for the development and diffusion of Italian cinema and the national film industry through the promotion of audiovisual production useful to enable the culture and creative capacity to express themselves respecting the diversity and richness of European culture.
